New Client Doc #4 - How to Prepare for Your Online Hypnosis Sessions

·      Begin today imagining what your life will be like when you experience the change you desire. Be as clear as possible in your imagination. Keep imagining and bringing your vision into clear focus.

·      Your physical location will have a major impact on the quality of your sessions. So, please find a location where you have total privacy and will not be interrupted by pets, children, spouses, or delivery people. Public places like parks or your car are not acceptable for successful hypnosis.

·      Your comfort is important to the process so be sure to dress comfortably. Choose loose-fitting clothing and avoid anything that might bind or constrict you in any way.

·      The eyes can water during hypnosis so, if you wear contacts you may find it more comfortable to remove them prior to each session.

·      It is acceptable for you to record our sessions on your smart phone or other recording device.

·      Avoid the use of non-prescription substances such as alcohol and recreational drugs 24 hours prior to your session as these can interfere with a person’s ability to enter hypnosis.

·      The best attitude for success is to be just open to allowing change to happen quickly and easily. Be willing to set aside critical thinking and mental analysis and just follow my instructions so you can get the most out of your sessions. Your awareness of your feelings and thoughts and your willingness to speak about whatever comes up for you will give us the best possible results from our sessions. Your sessions are completely confidential.

·      Most people notice a shift even after the first session. So, imagine all the benefits of making this change in your life. And look forward to enjoying a wonderfully relaxing and enlightening first session.

·      It is important that I be able to see you from your fingers to the top of your head. So please position your computer so that it provides this view.

·      Please feel free to get comfortable in your favorite chair and add a blanket for warmth. The body tends to get a little cooler during hypnosis. Do not lie down as that leads to you falling asleep.

·      During hypnosis, nothing will bring you out of hypnosis except an emergency that you perceive. So, feel free to scratch your nose or cough or adjust yourself in your chair.

·      Before your session, test your computer to make sure your internet access is good and that your computer camera and microphone are working properly.

Self-sabotage is a uniquely human behavior. Many of us sabotage ourselves when we decide we want something by doing everything we can to ensure we don’t get it. Sound familiar? Although self-sabotage is a subconscious behavior, we can get a handle on it. There are many reasons that you might sabotage yourself. It’s an extremely common behavior, rooted in a fear of the unknown. If you’ve immersed yourself in mediocrity, the idea of greatness may be frightening. Ask yourself if you’re satisfied with your life.
