Some Things You Might Want to Know About Keith
I'm Keith Ivey, and I'm a professional hypnotherapist. As a kid, I didn't say, "Someday, I want to be a hypnotist." Becoming a hypnotist never entered my mind, even though I was fascinated with how the mind and hypnotism worked.
From a young age, I believed I was broken and needed fixing. This belief got in the way of my personal relationships but never seemed to harm my professional relationships. I was a hot mess in everything personal, but professionally, I was golden!
On the personal side of life, no one knew what was happening inside my head. Not my two wives, not my son, not my friends, not my clients. No one. That's because I was an incredible actor. I wasn't trying to fool anyone as much as to spare them from my pain and difficulty explaining how I felt.
I kept everyone in the dark except one woman. She was - and still is- a hypnotherapist. One night, at a business networking event, she approached me, put her arms around me, and whispered in my ear, "You need to come see me."
I knew right then that I had been busted. I told her I would, knowing full well that I had no intention of seeing her.
We were at another networking event shortly after that, and she approached me again. This time, she put her arms around me tighter and said, "Make the damn appointment!"
I decided to make the appointment, see her once, and get her off my back.
It didn't work out that way. I can't tell you the details of what happened during that hour. All I can tell you is that I left her office with a slight case of hopefulness - a feeling I hadn't felt in years. I continued to see her weekly for two months. Along the way, I said to her, "Do you think I could learn to do what you do?" She said she thought I could. So, I enrolled in hypnosis school, quit selling health insurance, got trained and certified as a hypnotherapist, opened my practice, and here I am.
I never intended to be here. I never went looking for hypnotherapy. Instead, I believe hypnotherapy came looking for me. hypnotherapy changed my life. hypnotherapy saved my life. And now, I want to do for you what my hypnotherapist did for me.
Everything starts with a conversation that costs you nothing except some time. But it's a conversation that may be the gateway to the happiness you desperately desire.
